4. David Nixon, a recent addition to the active roster, made the biggest play of the game when he stripped Cleveland return man Josh Cribbs and Ben Leber recovered the fumble. Things were looking pretty bleak before the turnover, but the play set up the eventual game-winning field goal by Josh Brown.
5. The defensive line didn’t get as much pressure on Colt McCoy as I thought they would, but overall I thought the defense was pretty solid overall. Chris Long recorded his 8th sack of the season, and James Laurinaitis added a sack as well. The defense was excellent against the run for almost all of the game, and I was happy with the secondary considering how depleted they are.
