Rams QB Bradford Finally Practices

Rams QB Sam Bradford took to the practice field for the first time this week on Saturday, as he got in limited work with the offense in preparation for Monday night’s battle in Seattle.Bradford is listed as questionable for the game, but it’s obviously a good sign that he got out there on the ankle yesterday. We won’t know for sure if he will play until Monday, but I would say that it’s looking pretty promising at this point unless he suffers a setback sometime before the game. Considering AJ Feeley has been ruled out for Monday night, this Bradford news is pretty much what we were hoping for heading into the game.

In another sign that Bradford will likely play, new QB Kellen Clemens took most of the work with the offense in practice on Saturday, while Tom Brandstater spent most of his time working with the scout team. If the team was truly concerned about Bradford’s status, I can’t imagine they would have given all the reps to a guy who has only been here two days, especially after Brandstater got a majority of the snaps the rest of the week. I know Spags has been highly impressed with Clemens in the short time he has been here, but I just don’t believe Clemens would start over Brandstater if the situation arose. Hopefully it won’t be an issue.

The final injury report looks a little something like this: Brit Miller is questionable with his knee injury, and I’d say his status is very much up in the air. He was getting checked out again Saturday, and although he thinks he will be ready, I got the feeling that the team is a little concerned. Freddie Robbins is listed as questionable as well, and he didn’t practice all week. Chris Long did a little work Saturday and will play, while Mark LeVoir is expected to start at left tackled after missing two weeks. I already mentioned Feeley has been ruled out, as has return man Quinn Porter.
