Injury Update: St. Louis Rams OL Watkins Sitting Out, Saffold Back To Practice

The St. Louis Rams had a tough time on the injury front following Sunday’s game, with Saffold and Wells leaving the game early with injury. A mixture of bad and good news poured in on Wednesday via Jim Thomas, with the apparent return of Safford to the practice field, albeit in with limited reps. On the other side of the coin, it look like Watkins might be out versus to the Redskins after being sidelined today with an ankle injury, where he was sen hobbling around on crutches. Brockers and Scott are both still out from last week, but Conrath, who played a fair number of snaps against Detroit, was added to the list. For the Redskins, it looks like Pierre Garson may not be back on Sunday, but we will have to see how the injuries progress closer to game time.


In other news, Scott Wells foot surgery was successful and he will begin heal and rehabbing the foot for a hopeful return sometime this season,
