1st Quarter Update: Refs Hand RGIII His First Rushing Touchdown

The Rams started off on the wrong football foot with an untimely fumble by Danny Amendola, which the Rams followed with a nice drive down the field that added a field goal. After a couple of blown calls that Jeff Fisher failed to challenge, RGIII got handed the keys to the offense to take another shot at the Rams defense.

Thanks to a legal hit on RGIII on 3rd down that was called a “personal foul” that gave the ‘Skins a fresh set of down, and then a missed holding call on Cortland Finnegan in the red zone, “Bob” Griffin now has his first rushing touchdown.
