It’s only week two and you can already feel that this award is going to come down to the final game of the season. From worst to first went Mario Williams of the Bills, who didnt have a single sack last week against the Patriots, but 4.5 sacks this week against the Panthers, meanwhile Robert Quinn is still hanging in there with 4 sacks. This season the NFL is  honoring former Ram Deacon Jones with an annual award going to the NFL sack leader. Here are the top 10 standings after week two:

1. BUF DE Mario Williams- 4.5

2. STL DE Robert Quinn- 4.0

T3. SF LB Aldon Smith- 3.5

T3. KC DT Dontari Poe- 3.5

After only two weeks its still  a tight race, and Robert Quinn is still in a good position in second place with 4 sacks. This week St. Louis plays the Cowboys who have allowed five sacks in two weeks. Robert Quinn could have a big week this week and if he does he could separate himself as the best pass rusher in the NFL during week 3.
