Had the Rams offensive line not allowed Robert Mathis to a sack last week, Robert Quinn would reclaim his spot as the sack leader, but Quinn did record two sacks and is in second place. Quinn does however lead the NFC in sacks.

Along with being in the runnings for the Deacon Jones Award Quinn is also being considered for defensive player of the year. Quinn has the most forced fumbles this season and its hard to argue that he hasn’t been a dominant force on the d-line.

Without further ado here are the week 11 sack standings for the Deacon Jones Award which will be given to the player with the most sacks at the end of the season.

1. IND LB Robert Mathis- 13.5

2. STL DE Robert Quinn- 12.0

T3. BUF DE Mario Williams- 11.0

T3. KC LB Justin Houston- 11.0

T5. BAL LB Terrell Suggs- 9.0

T5. KC LB Tamba Hali- 9.0

T7. CAR DE Charles Johnson- 8.5

T7. NE DE Chandler Jones- 8.5

T9. BAL LB Elvis Dumervil- 8.0

T9. NYJ DL Muhammad Wilkerson- 8.0

Next week the St. Louis Rams have a bye which means Robert Quinn will not be able to move up the list however, the mighty Black Lightning will be back at it against the Chicago Bears to continue to attempt to win the Deacon Jones Award.
