Tomorrow the St. Louis Rams will play an old NFC West division rival in the New Orleans Saints. Both teams have quite a history together and that surely won’t change this week.

This game was scheduled for 12:00 CT, but got flexed to 3:25 and will be apart of FOX’s doubleheader. Chris Myers, Tim Ryan, Jennifer Hale will be on the call for FOX and you can catch the game on channel 715 which is apart of the NFL Sunday Ticket package with DIRECTV. You can also catch the game on NFL audio pass or at a later time on NFL game rewind.

The Saints come in at 10-3 and are the NFC’s second seed. This team has came a long way since being 7-9 last season and are back to being one of the league’s elite teams. With a win this week the Saints will clinch a playoff berth. They can also clinch if they lose and the Cardinals and either the Cowboys or Eagles lose.

The Rams on the other hand are once again playing for next year, and although they are playing one of the NFC’s best, don’t expect them to back down. This team isn’t looking to improve their draft pick, they are trying to make a statement for next season.

Players To WatchTavon Austin and Kenny Vaccaro

Believe it or not these two players went up against each other last season when West Virginia traveled to Texas. In that game Austin had 10 catches for 102 yards. However, when Vaccaro was on Austin, he did a good job of slowing him down.

Matchup To Watch: Robert Quinn vs Charles Brown

Robert Quinn has gone sack-less the past couple of weeks. This week at the dome seem like a perfect time to get back on track. It will be important for the Rams front four to get to Brees, because if they are unable to, Brees will shred them apart.

Prediction: Saints 27 Rams 16

Right now the Rams just don’t have the defensive players to cover the Saints’ offensive weapons. The defense made Carson Palmer look like Peyton Manning last week; they may make Brees look like the greatest quarterback to take the field this week. The Rams have had success against the Saints in the past but I don’t expect that to continue this week as the Saints will be ready.
