The Los Angeles Rams took a fall in the 2016 NFL Power Rankings heading into the final week of preseason after suffering a tough 17-9 loss on the road to the Denver Broncos.

After starting 2-0 in the preseason, the Rams struggled to get anything going on offense against the Broncos as they failed to find the end zone even once despite three appearances in the red zone. While Case Keenum looked sharp under the tough circumstances, Jared Goff continued to deal with some of his rookie struggles, although some of his incompletions weren’t entirely his fault as dropped passes continue to be an issue for this team.

Still, as much as the offense still needs improvement, Los Angeles should be pleased with the way their defense looked against Denver’s starters after forcing two three-and-outs at the beginning of the game. The defense was the main reason behind the Rams success last year and Jeff Fisher knows that will have to be the case again if his team is going to have any shot at winning the division.

With one more game to go before the start of the regular season, be sure to see where the Rams ended up this time on the 2016 NFL Power Rankings for Week 4 of preseason.
