Los Angeles Rams fans could be heard cheering for No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow while Case Keenum struggled during the team’s loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

As if things couldn’t get any worse for Case Keenum, fans in Los Angeles are now cheering for someone, anyone to replace him.

Rams fans could be heard chanting for Jared Goff and even Tim Tebow as Keenum once again struggled in Week 9. Keenum was also showered with a chorus of boos throughout the loss.

After the game, Keenum said he understood why the fans were angry:

Keenum finished 27 of 46 for 296 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. He was also sacked four times and got no help from a Rams rushing attack that totaled just 59 yards on 17 attempts.

What Jeff Fisher Thinks

Not only did head coach Jeff Fisher claim he didn’t hear the fans chanting Goff’s name, he doesn’t blame the loss on Keenum:

Fisher also doesn’t think that Keenum’s play warrants putting Goff in, per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN:

"“I don’t think Case’s play was indicative of raising the question”"

Granted, Fisher is right when he says the loss isn’t on Keenum alone; however he was part of the problem. The truth is the Rams offense as a whole was unable to get anything going against the Panthers and it’s doubtful Goff will change that. Los Angeles’ problems are bigger than just the quarterback.

It doesn’t appear the Rams are going to Goff at this moment. Keenum is likely to be the starter next week and moving forward. Barring injury, we may not see Goff until 2017.
