Former Los Angeles Rams quarterback Nick Foles will be heading back to the Philadelphia Eagles for the second time in his career.
To say the brief time Nick Foles spent with the Los Angeles Rams was a disappointment would be one of the biggest understatements after looking at how much he struggled under center during the 2015 season. Foles originally joined the Rams as part of the Sam Bradford deal prior to that season before the team ended up releasing him during training camp last summer, and now it looks like the quarterback will be returning to his former team in the Philadelphia Eagles.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday morning how Foles and the Eagles have agreed to a two-year deal to be a backup to Carson Wentz. Not long after his release from Los Angeles, Foles reunited with Andy Reid to serve as a backup to Alex Smith with the Kansas City Chiefs, but was recently released by the team a few days ago.

And now, questions about where Chase Daniels lands.
Prior to the signing of Aaron Murray, the Rams were in search of a backup quarterback to Jared Goff since Case Keenum has hit the open market as a free agent. But after seeing how much he struggled in his only season with the team, it was a relief for Los Angeles to not even consider the possibility of a reunion with Foles.

The fact that Foles only threw seven touchdowns in 11 games with the Rams in 2015 shows how much of a mistake it was for the team to bring him on board in the first place to be the starter. Then again, Foles found himself in a similar situation to Goff in which the team didn’t exactly provide him with the best weapons to work with on offense, so it maybe he deserves a little benefit of the doubt.
