The Los Angeles Rams will have a new stadium on line in 2019. The name of the facility may also prove to be a lucrative deal for the organization.
For the Los Angeles Rams, what’s in a name may come with a huge windfall. Terry Lefton at L.A. Biz reports that the new Inglewood facility may yield a $30 million deal for naming rights.
The $2.6 billion, yes, that’s with a “B”, stadium that will house both the Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers is in search of a 20 year deal for someone to put their name on the building.

And who might that lucky corporate sponsor be?
AT&T.
Currently, AT&T has three major sports venues with their name on the building: the San Antonio Spurs home arena, the San Francisco Giants baseball stadium, and of course, Jerry World where the Dallas Cowboys play.
The Inglewood facility, currently named Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park could be the fourth to hang the three letters on the front door.

Rams owner Stan Kroenke looks to be building what might be an NFL Mecca on 300 acres that will not just house the Rams and Chargers, but several of the high profile events often slated at Jerry Jones’ palace in Arlington, Texas.
As well as a Super Bowl in 2021.
The multi-use facility will be something of a ‘Crown Jewel’ for the NFL as if firmly plants an anchor in the Los Angeles market, something league officials have been chasing since the Rams and Raiders left LA in 1994.
The Inglewood stadium is scheduled to open for the 2019 season.
