The first date of organized team activities for the Los Angeles Rams will take place on Monday, May 22.
Even though the start of the 2017 NFL season is still a few months away, the Los Angeles Rams have found ways to keep fans excited until then thanks to numerous key moves made in free agency and this year’s NFL Draft. One of the top priorities for the Rams heading into the offseason was to work on the development of Jared Goff, and based off what last year’s top pick has already shown, all signs point to the former California star quarterback hitting a whole new level during his sophomore season.

Goff received some benefit of the doubt last year in the seven games he started under center as a rookie due to having one of the league’s weakest receiving corps. But between the addition of Andrew Whitworth to boost the offensive line along with using the draft to add key weapons in the passing game like Cooper Kupp and Gerald Everett, fans have plenty of reasons to be excited over what could be in store for Goff in 2017.
Until then, fans will just have to wait it out, and help pass the time by looking forward to other important things in the offseason, such as organization team activities. Luckily for Rams fans, those OTAs will be getting underway on Monday, with the 10 dates listed below courtesy of Myles Simmons.

5/22, 5/23, 5/25, 5/30, 5/31, 6/2, 6/6, 6/7, and 6/8.
Even though these practices are closed to the public, the beginning of organized team activities means football season is that much closer, as Los Angeles looks to bounce back from a disastrous 2016 campaign in which they found just four games. With all of the changes made during the offseason between the coaching staff and players, there’s no reason why the Rams shouldn’t be able to top their win mark from a year ago.

They still have a long way to go when it comes to proving themselves, but early predictions have Los Angeles at 12/1 odds to win the NFC West next year. When looking at the high expectations surrounding the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals, it’s safe to say that’s a fair bet for the Rams.
