Pats lose draft pick; Belichick Fined

According to ESPN.com, the NFL has fined Patriots coach Bill Belichick $500,000 today for stealing some of the Jets defensive calls. The Pats were also fined $250,000, losing a 2008 first round draft pick if they make the playoffs this year.

This was expected from a lot of people around the NFL and it’s really no surprise. The thing that kind of surprises me is that they gave a bigger fine to Belichick then to the Patriots. I guess he had alot more to do with it then the rest of the organization.
