Denver Broncos Hire Josh McDaniels
By stlvinnie
ESPN has reported that the Denver Broncos have hired Josh McDaniels, the New England Patriots offensive coordinator. This is not good news for the St. Louis Rams. You would think that McDaniels would have been one of the top candidates for the Rams position. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Josh McDaniels never made it to St. Louis on Friday for his head coaching interview because he was tied up with a second interview with the Broncos.
The Rams need to treat these things seriously. Teams are hiring coaches faster than the Rams can even set up interviews. With the New York Giants losing to the Philadelphia Eagles today the Rams should already have been on the phone with Steve Spagnuolo but were they? As a Rams fan I am concerned that the Rams are not going to get a coaching staff in place that can make a difference. I think it is clear that Rex Ryan and Steve Spagnuolo should be their top choices at the moment. What are your thoughts?
The New York Jets have already interviewed Rex Ryan, and Steve Spagnuolo. Are we doing enough to let these coaches know we want them? They are not interested in hearing if they have made the finals they want to hear an offer.
Let’s make it happen!
