Okay so maybe this isn’t a complete redemption for the Rams, but they may have made the greatest possible move ever.  In case you haven’t heard, as of this week, G Richie “I love 15 yard penalties” Incognito is now off the team, released by the Rams front office.

Incognito, a third round pick of the Rams back in 2005, was without a doubt my least favorite Ram.  It seemed everytime a Rams drive began gaining life, Incognito was right there to bring them back down to Earth, whether it be through a personal foul penalty or holding penalty.  Regardless of the penalty, the guy was flat out aweful.  Apparently he thought the refs would be too busy laughing at his ridiculous tattoos to throw a flag on his absolutely unbelievable personal foul penalties.

The final straw apparently was reached after Incognito was flagged for two 15-yarders against the Tennessee Titans last weekend, one putting the Rams in an unbelievable 3rd and 35 position.

Well thanks for trying Richie, best of luck to you in the rest of your career.  I really do hope you succeed, but until you learn to control that temper, the NFL is going to be a rough place for you.
