That’s Fine, Derek Anderson

Now that the Denver week is over, it’s time to take a look ahead to the Rams opponent for the coming week. For anyone who didn’t catch Monday Night Football last night, the Arizona Cardinals, who is the Rams next opponent, we embarrassed by the San Francisco 49ers at home. The Cards have really been struggling as of late, which makes it hard for me to get a read on this game. On one hand, I feel like we should be excited that the Rams get to play a team that has been s bad recently. On the other hand, I find myself a little worried that the Monday Night Debacle might just light a fire under the Cardinals, and they might come out with a point to prove against the Rams.

The one bright side here is that even if the Cards do come out firing on all cylinders, it’s not like they are the most dynamic team in the NFL. I think one of the biggest keys to the game could be the Rams ability to get on the Cards early to demoralize them even more than they already are. I haven’t seen Arizona willing to fight for it this season, so taking the air out early could be exactly what we need.

Need some more proof that things are a mess in the desert? Here is the video of Cardinals’ quarterback Derek Anderson’s press conference meltdown after Monday’s game. If you haven’t seen this yet, you need to watch it. It’s pretty hilarious.
