They get Zero national media attention. Can the Rams be the NFL sleeper this year? Season predictions?

I eagerly watch Sportscenter, probably too much to the dismay of my beautiful wife and 1 month old baby boy. I can’t wait to get home and crack open that Bud Select (or Guinness depending on my mood) to turn on the NFL Network. A glimmer of hope that some national media pundit will recognize what we are building here at Rams Park in Earth City, MO. I think it’s pretty obvious we are onto something here. As we all know, we don’t get any respect at this point and I never see anything about the Rams anywhere besides Channel 2, 4, and 5 here in town. I guess I am just excited, but nationally we have alot to prove. We have one of the most difficult 1st 8 games anywhere seen in the NFL. Yes I also know we are in the NFC West and we have gone 10-38 the past 3 years. Sam had a pretty decent rookie year, but so did Cade McNown and we all probably know what happened to him. Now I am one of Sam’s biggest fans and I hope he leads this team to a 35-10 victory over the Eagles in week 1 and we just get better from there. Yes I am Darryn to Dream. But hey ya never know. I do believe our time is coming again very soon. If not real soon, then maybe just a little bit later. ESPN and The NFL Network….deep down I think they know it’s coming. Anyone want to throw up some predictions for the 2011 Rams? here is mine. 9-7, maybe 10-6 and we get to 2nd round of the playoffs.
