Brandon Lloyd In, MSW Out
By Justin Stine
As with any roster move, a spot had to be made for Lloyd after the deal. The team released WR Mike Sims-Walker to free up that spot, which may sound like a surprise but it really isn’t. MSW was a healthy scratch yesterday in Green Bay, and it’s safe to say he had little-to-no impact with the Rams while he was here. I don’t think his signing was a bad move, because I am one of the many people who really liked it when it happened, but sometimes these things don’t work out. I have no problem with MSW, and I wish him well in his future endeavors.
As far as quarterback Sam Bradford goes, it doesn’t sound like things are great with his ankle. Bradford was reportedly in a walking boot today, and backup AJ Feeley will work with the first-team in practice on Wednesday. The Rams are keeping this thing as close to the vest as possible right now, but it’s a high-ankle sprain and Bradford was pretty sore today. I don’t want to handicap his probability for playing on Sunday at this point, but I’d have to say it doesn’t look great.
