UPDATE: St. Louis Rams have released CB Quinton Pointer and C Tim Barnes had been moved to the active roster from the practice squad. TE Mike McNeill has been added to the injury list, with an apparent ankle injury
Much like Wednesday, the list of injuries is limited against to only a handful of offensive and defensive lineman. With Scott Wells moved the IR, the walking wounded is limited to Michael Brockers, Matt Conrath, and Rok Watkins. Thursday makes the second consecutive full practice for Rodger Saffold, although his status for Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Redskins has been labelled “questionable”

In other news, although not relevant to the 53-man roster, is the release of the St. Louis Rams first choice in the seventh round. Aaron Brown, who was cut by the Rams before the Aug. 31 deadline, had been resigned to the practice squad. However, St. Louis was reclaimed Sammy Brown, their UDFA out of Houston, and released Aaron Brown to make room on the practice squad. Tough break for Aaron Brown, but at least our other seventh rounder is working out so far!

In other, other news, Washington seems to be handling Pierre Garcon’s foot injury similarly to St. Louis’s watch over Saffold. He is currently listed as “questionable,”
but it is reported that he will be a game time decision. The loss of Garcon would be huge for the Rams, and tragic for Washington. Against New Orleans, 27.5% of Robert Griffin III’s passing yards came on a single pass to Garcon, who broke the play for an 88 yard touchdown. In total, Garcon attributed to about a fourth of the catches on the team, but had double the yards of the nearest player. If he is out, the aged Santana Moss and Aldrick Robinson will be RGIII’s primary weapons, which will likely not bode well against a stingy Rams secondary.
