Before we jump to conclusions, the results from the MRI on Sam Bradford’s left knee have not been revealed, and thus, this could be a wasted conversation. On the other hand, there are multiple reports that the news “doesn’t look good,” for the Rams fourth-year signal caller. Just when things were starting to look their gloomiest, Mike Silver stepped up and threw Rams Nation a bone…
From @MikeSilver: Rams have discussed signing Tim Tebow. Post to come.

That tweet would soon be followed by multiple insinuations that the signing was “unlikely,” but that doesn’t mean we cannot talk about it, right? For starters, Kellen Clemens is the lone backup quarterback on the roster, currently trailed by P Johnny Hekker, should the Rams need to turn to a No.3 backer. Clemens is a seasoned veteran, but is more of a “player-coach” than a “true backup” in the league. Naturally, the St. Louis Rams could look to bring back Austin Davis, who is highly familiar with the personnel and the playbook. Is he truly an upgrade over Kellen Clemens? Bernie Kosar would certainly say so!
With a limited “backup quarterback” market, names like Tim Tebow, Vince Young, Brady Quinn, and the other “usually” are inevitably going to start flying around. However, thanks to the quarterbacking circus in New York and Buffalo, most of the younger, less-hated names are already signed onto a 53-man roster. So, instead of ripping down the idea of Tebow Time in St. Louis, why not embrace it? In that spirit, here are five reasons for Tebow Time in St. Louis.
Reason for #TebowTime #1: For starters.... why not? Very few competitive QBs available, fewer who are proven winners

Reason for #TebowTime #2: The offense (should) be based primarily around the run game and short- to intermediate- passing game

Reason for #TebowTime #3: Stacy/Richardson and the Rams D are very similar to the magical teams in Denver, when Tebow rallied

Reason for #TebowTime #4: The national media would, if nothing else, constantly keep the St. Louis Rams in the news; maybe, good or bad?

Reason for #TebowTime #5: Would not have to worry about a controversy, cap space, or anything else once Bradford returned #HeIsTheStarter

Obviously, this is all speculation, and Sam Bradford could be back in full-swing at Rams Camp by mid-week. However, doesn’t hurt to think about what TebowMania 3.0 might be like in St. Louis. Feel free to share your thoughts on Tebow in the comment section below; good or bad!
