Over the last 48 hours, plenty of rumors have spread around Rams Nation, from the potential signing of Tim Tebow to some massive trade talks to acquire Kirk Cousins. Some of those were laid to rest yesterday evening, following the Jeff Fisher press conference, where he 1)  announced Kellen Clemens as the starter for Monday Night Football, 2) denounced the option of “trading,” and 3) suggested that the Rams may sign “multiple quarterbacks” to the roster.

Obviously, the last point is the only one worth discussing, as most assumed that Clemens would be the starter for this upcoming week, being the only other quarterback on the 53-man roster. Players like Tim Tebow and Vince Young have already been ruled out of the equation, so who is left?

Lots of sources dropping lots of names. Certainly, as the day progresses, we will hear more finite information on the exact list of auditionees for the St. Louis Rams quarterback spot. One would assume that they will have someone picked out and in pads by Wednesday morning. However, with it being a “long week” leading up to the Monday Night Football matchup, the Rams could certainly hold out on making their decision until later in the week. Stay tuned for more updates as they pile in.
