Before each season actually begins, for the most part teams already know who they are going to play as the league schedule is set on a rotation system. We won’t know the dates of the games until April or May, but until then let’s take a look at the Rams 2014 opponents.
Home
Dallas Cowboys
New York Giants
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
Minnesota Vikings
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
Arizona Cardinals
Away
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Redskins
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
Arizona Cardinals
Looking at the Rams home games, it doesn’t look too bad, the Rams should be able to win some games at home. At a first glance the Rams should be able to get wins against the Cowboys, Giants, Raiders, and Vikings. The Broncos and the NFC West will be difficult, The Rams will need to win two of the three against their division at home.
The road games for the Rams look quite difficult. The Eagles have came a long ways and are a pretty good team, the Redskins could get back to playing well, Arrowhead Stadium is no easy place to play, the Rams could get a win against the Chargers and Buccaneers, and then the Rams have the NFC West.
A lot is going to change between now which is why I won’t even begin to make any predictions. What I will say is that the Rams schedule doesn’t look like a cake walk, but it doesn’t look impossible. If the Rams can make the right moves in the offseason, the Rams can do well with this schedule.
