Wild Card
AFC
San Diego Chargers(6) @ Cincinnati Bengals(3)
Right now it seems like everybody is picking the Chargers to win this game and with good reason. The Chargers have won their past four games, including against the Denver Broncos, and the Bengals are coming off an ugly win at home against the Ravens.
The point is, this game is in Cincinnati where the Bengals haven’t lost this season. Chargers have that perfect fairytale ending set up for them, but I have to stick with Cincinnati.
Bengals win 24-20
Kansas City Chiefs(5) @ Indianapolis Colts(4)
The Colts have struggled with injuries over the second half of the season as well as the Chiefs, however it’s not the playoffs without an Andy Reid squad losing in the championship game. I have the Chiefs coming out on top in this one.
Chiefs did lose to the Colts a few weeks ago, but I think the Chiefs will get it together and pull this one out.
Chiefs Win 27-23
NFC
New Orleans Saints(6) @ Philadelphia Eagles(3)
Face it, the Saints don’t play well on the road and it’s going to be cold in Philly. The Eagles have won seven of their past eight games. This team is hot, and you can bet the Saints will be cold.
Eagles Win 28-14
San Francisco 49ers(5) @ Green Bay Packers(4)
Green Bay is another one of those teams that has the perfect story for that cinderella ending. Aaron Rogers did just come back though and although he did ball out against the Bears, the 49ers defense is much better.
This will be a close one, but the 49ers come out with it in the end.
49ers win 20-16
