Divisional Round
AFC
Kansas City Chiefs(5) @ Denver Broncos(1)
It’s always hard to pick Peyton Manning in the playoffs, but then again, it’s hard to pick against him. But that’s exactly what I’m going to do. The Broncos don’t rush the passer well, and their offensive line is all banged up.
If the Chiefs can rattle Peyton Manning they will win this game. The Chiefs will have to rely on Jamaal Charles and for Alex Smith to make the big throws when they count on offense.
Chiefs win 31-23
Cincinnati Bengals(3) @ New England Patriots(2)
Unlike Peyton Manning, it’s hard to pick against Tom Brady in the playoffs, but once again, that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
I don’t think the Patriots are good enough to win in the playoffs without Gronkowski. They have a good defense, but Tom Brady can only do so much.
Bengals win 24-20
NFC
San Francisco 49ers(5) @ Seattle Seahawks(1)
Seahawks are at home, enough said there. However, because I do have to do a little persuading, I will say this. The Seahawks have outscored the 49ers 71-16 at Centurylink field going back to last season.
Seahawks have struggled on offense the past few weeks, but their defense will get them by in this one.
Seahawks win 26-13
Philadelphia Eagles(3) @ Carolina Panthers(2)
Both teams don’t have a lot of playoff experience and both teams have gotten hot at the right time. It’s difficult to pick this one as I think it will be close.
However because I have to pick somebody, Im going to pick the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are playing good football this year, and I think they continue to do so. This defense will shut down Nick Foles and the Eagles offense and move to the NFC Championship
Panthers win 20-12
