While he didn’t have a broken leg and was playing this season, T.J. McDonald looked pretty good, it was the guy playing next to him that wasn’t. Rodney McLeod and Darian Steward just weren’t the answer for the Rams at free safety.

Because of the struggles at safety, the cornerbacks also suffered, being forced to play in a soft coverage to avoid getting beat over the top.

Adding a top-tier safety in the draft like Ha-Ha Clinton Dix out of Alabama, or adding a guy in free agency should be a top priority for the Rams this offseason.
