Quarterback

I am not at all saying that the Rams need to replace Bradford by picking up a quarterback. What they do need though is a young, backup quarterback.

Kellen Clemens was great, but the offense took too big of a hit when he went in, and the offense for the most part had to rely on the ground game of Zac Stacy.

The Rams need a guy that could come in and develop and be able to take over without the offense taking too big of a hit. Adding a young quarterback project could also add a little competition with Bradford.

The value of the backup quarterback position has gone up considerably with the injuries to some of the big name quarterbacks the last couple of years. The Rams need to be prepared if Bradford were to go down again.

A.J. McCarron would be a nice fit as well as Aaron Murray or Tahj Boyd, all of which would be available in the middle rounds of the draft.
