Last night the first ever real live fantasy draft for the new, non-conferenced Pro Bowl took place, and ironically both Rams players were drafted by the former 49er Jerry Rice.
Rams defensive end Robert Quinn was taken right away by team Rice as Rice won the coin toss and decided to pair with Quinn and Brees and his captains and defer the number one overall pick to team Sanders.
Rams punter Johnny Hekker on the other hand had to wait awhile, but when all was said and done, both players wound up on the same side.
With 60 players yet to be drafted the second half of the draft will take place tomorrow night and will feature the picks of the wide receivers, running backs and quarterbacks, and will air Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
