5th Round
CB Jaylen Watkins, Florida
The Rams may wait to address their depth problem at the cornerback position until later in the draft and if that happens Watkins could be their guy. Although Watkins may only be a special teamer his rookie season he has potential make his way on defense. He is a bigger corner, is physical and has experience at safety.
DE Ben Gardner, Stanford
You can never too many defensive lineman. Gardner may have gotten injured last season which drops his draft stock, but the year before he had a respectable 7.5 sacks. Gardner won’t be taking Robert Quinn or Chris Long’s spot on the line anytime soon, but he does give them depth.
