Over the weekend here at Ramblin’ Fan, we asked you guys the fans to vote on who you would like the Rams take in May’s draft. After 503 total votes, we now have the results. Here’s who Rams fans would want general manager Les Snead to bring to St. Louis.

With The second overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select….

Clemson WR, Sammy Watkins(42%, 111 Votes)

This should come as no surprise. The Rams have not hardly had a receiver worth noting since wide receiver great, Torry Holt, left the team. The Rams are missing that number one receiver on the outside and Watkins brings just that.

He is explosive, he has good hands, he can break away from tackles and make a big play; he is the total package for a wide receiver. Whether or not he would be worth the number two pick is still the question, but if the Rams feel like he is worth the pick, which they just might after the pro day, then they should pounce on the opportunity.

2nd Option- Auburn, OT Greg Robinson(28% 73 Votes)

3rd Option- South Carolina, DE Jadeveon Clowney(17% 45 Votes)

4th Option- Buffalo, LB Khalil Mack(10% 26 Votes)

5th Option- Texas A&M, OT Jake Matthews(3% 9 Votes)

With The 13th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select…

Alabama S, Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix(46% 109 Votes)

One of the biggest empty spots on the Rams defense is at the safety position, and nobody in the draft fits the Rams’ scheme better than Clinton-Dix. He is  exactly the type of center fielder they need at the position and would perfectly fit into defensive coordinator Gregg Williams’ defense, allowing T.J. McDonald to play up near the line of scrimmage.

Clinton-Dix is arguably the best safety in this draft, and if he falls to the Rams at 13, they had better take him rather than risk him being taken by the Cowboys or Steelers.

2nd Option- Texas A&M, WR Mike Evans(24% 57 Votes)

3rd Option- Louisville, S Calvin Pryor(17% 41 Votes)

4th Option- Michigan St, CB Darqueze Dennard(5% 12 Votes)

5th Option- Pittsburgh, DT Aaron Donals( 5% 11 Votes)

6th Option- USC, WR Marqise Lee( 3% 9 Votes)

There you have it Rams fans, that’s who you want the Rams to take in the 2014 NFL Draft in May. Free agency could change some of your minds before the draft, but without a doubt, the majority of Rams fans would be happy if the team walked out of Radio City Hall on March 8, with Watkins and Clinton-Dix.
