Players To Keep An Eye On During Free Agency

As much as Rams fans may want cornerback Darrell Revis if he gets released, it’s not going to happen, might as well just face the fact now. A good second option however, would be Titans cornerback Alterraun Verner, another free agent favorite in Rams nation.

Verner was the 12th rated cornerback on Pro Football Focus, but has huge upside at only 25 years of age. The Rams should be cautious however as to not overpay for Verner. Brent Grimes and Sam Shields set the market pretty high and it is thought that Verner could want something in the $10M-$12M range.

The Rams could use a for sure number one cornerback in the secondary to take some of the pressure off of Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson, but they need to be cautious how they do it, especially with the draft being so deep at the cornerback position.
