The Rams just lost what would have been guard Rodger Saffold in to free agency and just released guard Harvey Dahl. To say the least, the Rams are a bit empty at the guard position. Schwartz would be a great addition, and fill the empty hole and it has been reported that the Rams are showing interest.

Schwartz moved into the starting lineup at right guard late in the season with the Chiefs and started seven games. He finished as the eighth rated guard on Pro Football Focus which was higher than Saffold. Schwartz earned a 5.3 grade in pass blocking and 7.3 grade in run blocking, both of which were also higher than Saffold. Don’t be surprised if this guy ends up in a Rams uniform over Byrd or Verner.
