After trying to trade out of the number one overall selection, it looks like the Houston Texans have failed to gather interest or any offer that ‘would get them to prom’. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Texans Houston know who they are going to take and are not expecting a trade per sources.

That means the St. Louis Rams are now on the clock in that case. We don’t know who the Texans are going to take quite yet, but speculation says that they will go with Jadeveon Clowney.

That would leave the Rams with who we expected, Greg Robinson, Sammy Watkins, Khalil Mack, and Jake Matthews.

The Rams will obviously be looking to trade down, like they have voiced multiple times throughout the offseason. Early indication however, is that the Rams are targeting offensive lineman Greg Robinson, nothing is set in stone yet though.

However, Robinson did have this to say about the Rams on nfl.com,

"“Well, I think St. Louis really liked me,” Robinson said at Wednesday’s NFL Play 60 Youth Football Festival along the Hudson. “I’ve been hearing a lot of good things from them as far as when I was on my visit and when they came and worked me out, there was a lot of good things.”"

There have also been rumors that have been recently shot down that the Rams have a deal in place with the Falcons if Clowney is still available at two. Is the draft here yet?

Thankfully it will only be a matter of hours before the St. Louis Rams are actually on the clock, and all the rumors will be gone. Who do you want the Rams to take with the number two pick? Let us know in the comment section below.
