Week 6: San Francisco 49ers

The fact that the Rams got swept by the 49ers last season makes me believe that the Rams are going to come out with a mission, and that is to make some noise in the NFC West. This is going to be a game with two stellar defenses, but the question will be which offense will prevail.

This game will be on prime time on Monday Night Football, and the Rams will come out ready to play. The Rams almost got a win on Monday Night Football last season, and for the first time since 2004, the Rams win on Monday Night.

Week 7: Seattle Seahawks

The Rams play another division game at home, only this one will be on a short week which could hurt the Rams. The argument that the Seahawks can’t win on the road is no longer valid which makes them a tough team to play anywhere. However, the Rams have had success against the Seahawks in the Edward Jones Dome in the past, and get another division win at home.

Week 8: @Kansas City Chiefs

Week eight at Kansas City is the beginning of the Rams’ three game road trip, two of which are against teams inside the division. If the Rams can go 1-2 in this three game stretch they will be in pretty good shape, but 0-3 will make things a little difficult moving forward.

The Chiefs are no longer a laughing matter and have a good offense to go with a pretty good defense. This will be the battle for the Governor’s Cup. If this game was in St. Louis, I would give the Rams the edge, but on the road at one of the met difficult places to play, the Chiefs get the win.

Week 9: @San Francisco 49ers

The Rams beat the 49ers earlier in the season, and you better believe they will be ready this time around. In 2012 the two teams tied in San Francisco, and I suspect this one will be similar to that meeting. However, being at home will give the 49ers the slight advantage.
