St. Louis Rams Fear Jake Long Tore ACL

The St. Louis Rams suffered many injuries in Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, one of which included an injury to left tackle Jake Long. According to Pro Football Talk, things don’t seem to be good for Long.

Long tore his ACL just last season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and after an offseason of rehab was back in time for week one against the Minnesota Vikings although he hasn’t been the same Pro Bowl-caliber player.

The Rams will now most likely put Rodger Saffold out at tackle and put Davin Joseph in at guard. The offensive line is pretty beat up and if today’s offensive performance was a sign of things to come when the offensive line struggles, the Rams are in for a long second half of the season.

We’ll keep you updated as the more information is released.
