2. Open Up the Cap Space

This team has been one of the younger teams in the NFL ever since Snead and Fisher took over, however, it’s time to bring in some veterans to complete this roster. While the Rams may not have a lot of cap space at the time being, a cut here and there opens things up for them to make big moves this free agency.

It is easier said than done, but by cutting Sam Bradford, Jake Long, Scott Wells, and Kendall Langford, the Rams could have $25-million during free agency. You can’t build a team through free agency, but this team could fill some big holes with that kind of cash, plus still re-sign players like Bradford, Kenny Britt, Lance Kendricks, and Joe Barksdale if they wished to do so.

The Rams have the potential to make a big splash in free agency. It would mean parting ways with players who have meant a lot to the franchise over the last couple of years, but when all is said and done, the NFL is a business and business type of deals happen. At the end of the day it’s nothing personal.
