Normally I like to wait until after free agency to do my first NFL mock draft of the season, but with the combine over and draft season looming, I simply couldn’t wait. A lot is going to change and become more clear for that matter after free agency, but for the time being, here is my first full mock draft of the year.

player. 48. The Buccaneers have a solid wide receiver corps. All they need is a quarterback to throw them the ball. Winston may have his problems, but he will be well worth the number one overall pick.. Quarterback. Flordia St.. Jameis Winston. 1

player. 35. Williams is versatile and arguably the best player on the board. Mariota is a big risk at number two as he still has some question marks. The Titans allowed 142 yards per game on the ground last season, therefore they take one of the best d-linemen in the draft.. Defensive Tackle. USC. Leonard Williams. 2

Washington. Danny Shelton. 3. player. 52. The Jaguars need a player who can be the anchor of their defensive line. Gus Bradley is a defensive coach and knows the importance of having a liable big man in the middle of the defense.. Defensive Tackle

Wide Receiver. Alabama. Amari Cooper. 4. player. 28. Derek Carr was arguably the most impressive rookie quarterback. Now the Raiders need to surround him with talent. Cooper will give Carr a very good number one target.
