2. The Rams New And Improved Ground Game vs Titans Defense

With the new addition of two rookie run blocking offensive linemen, and running back Todd Gurley, the Rams should be pounding the run game this preseason. However, the first week against the Raiders, the ground game was no where to be found. Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham combined for just five rushing attempts for 18 yards, as a team they failed to break 90. Yes, I know it’s preseason, but this team should be testing out this ground-and-pound offense a lot more. With a solid running game, Nick Foles won’t be put into third and long situations as often this season, and has the opportunity to really open things up with the play-action. Last week the Titans held the Atlanta Falcons to sixty nine rushing yards. St. Louis should aim to lay the wood against Tennessee this Sunday and keep the ground game moving to the tune of 100+ yards.
