Rams red zone defense vs Chiefs offense

If the Rams are going to win their last preseason game, they need to shutdown Kansas City near the endzone. They haven’t been the best at it this preseason as they have given up an average of 23 points per game. As for the Chiefs, they have the 2nd highest points per game with 27.3 points a game. The Chief’s quarterback Alex Smith and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin have been a one-two punch this preseason as they have totaled almost 100 yards and two touchdowns together. The Rams need to have at least one preseason game where they hold their opponent to under 15 points. More importantly, the first string defense needs to shutdown Smith and Maclin. If the Rams cannot stop the Chiefs in the last week of the preseason, they will have trouble even coming close to stopping Russell Wilson and the Seahawks come regular season. Let’s finish on a good note and take back the Governor’s Cup.

Make sure to watch the St. Louis Rams and all the key matchups this Thursday at 8:00 PM ET.
