The St. Louis defense played very well all-around in Week 1. Everyone knows how dangerous the Rams front four, even front seven, are and they showed their dominance racking up six sacks. The forgotten group here is the secondary. The back end of the defense held up their end of the bargain. This unit’s performance prevented big plays from the Seattle offense and picked off Russell Wilson once. Whats more impressive is how they performed with their lack of depth. After Trumaine Johnson went down, second year man Marcus Roberson stepped in beautifully. Facing a turnover-prone Kirk Cousins without deep threat Desean Jackson, this secondary could have a feast in DC.
