1 – Greg Robinson

In 2014 the St Louis Rams used the number two overall draft selection acquired from Washington as part of the Robert Griffin trade (how long ago does that seem like?) to pick their future left tackle. Robinson’s rookie season saw some teething problems as he struggled to adjust to the pace of NFL defensive ends. 2015 has unfortunately failed to show any real signs of improvement. Given Robinson’s pre-draft hype as a run blocking specialist, a run-first offense with an elite back Gurley should have been a match made in heaven this year. As it happens, Robinson leads all offensive tackles with penalties conceded (13), total penalty yards (114) and penalty yards conceded per game (7.6). This has been a real factor in St Louis offensive struggles this year, and if Robinson is to shake off the “bust” label he will need to become far more disciplined.
