Bold Prediction: Tre Mason totals 100+ rushing yards

Last year Tre Mason won over the starting role and played in 12 games. Mason had 765 rushing yards along with 148 receiving yards in his rookie year. Impressive stats, however with Todd Gurley running the show in St. Louis now, Mason days have nearly ended. But with Gurley’s season probably coming to an end as he is doubtful in Sunday’s contest, Mason will get his chance to shine.

Mason faced the 49ers twice last year and totaled 106 yards on 24 carries. Currently San Fran gives up 125.8 rushing yards a game, and I see Mason running all over the 49ers defense. Expect Mason to try to out do all of the Gurley hype this season.
