St. Louis Rams Wide Receiver Draft Board

The names listed below are in order of importance for the Rams to draft. For example, if both Laquon Treadwell and Michael Thomas were to be selected before the Rams, the team should consider taking Tyler Boyd.

It’s not necessarily a power ranking of talent, as it considers how the player would fit with the St. Louis offense. The Rams are looking for a number one receiver to line up across Kenny Britt or Stedman Bailey next year. That receiver needs to be big, fast, and able to catch contested balls for the quarterback. For example, I really like Corey Coleman’s skill set, but he may not be what the Rams need in the upcoming draft.

  1. Laquon Treadwell (1st Round)
  2. Michael Thomas (1st Round)
  3. Tyler Boyd (1st or 2nd Round)
  4. Josh Doctson (1st or 2nd Round)
  5. Will Fuller (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Round)
  6. Corey Coleman (1st or 2nd Round)

The St. Louis Rams (7-9) are in familiar territory in the Jeff Fisher-era this offseason: good enough to not be in the top 10 draft picks but not good enough to make the playoffs. Luckily, the Rams still have an opportunity to draft an impact wide receiver with the fifteenth overall pick. Do you agree with my analyses of these prospects for the Rams? Do you think the Rams should even draft a receiver in April? Comment below!
