Los Angeles Rams defensive end continuously gets mistaken for the numerous Long’s in the NFL by the media and fans. Frequently he gets mistaken with offensive lineman Jake Long and brother Kyle Long. With Pro Bowl alternates announced Tuesday, Chris Long made the Pro Bowl as an offensive lineman for the Chicago Bears as Philadelphia Eagles tackle, Jason Peters pulled out.

In an article written by ProFootballTalk, Chris Long is listed, as you can see in the picture in the tweet above, as an alternate for Peters. Not only that, when Long isn’t playing for the Rams he’s playing as a tackle with the Chicago Bears.

Long was named a Pro Bowl alternate four consecutive seasons between 2010-2013 as he had 41.5 combined in those four years. Being the pro that he is, Long played along with it pretty well.
