Players Rams Should Re-Sign

With the moves that we made in the cutting process, the Rams now have almost a whopping $60-million in cap space. That seems like a lot, but they do have a lot of players that they need to bring back. Here are the players that they should re-sign:

[table id=13 /]

After starting the process with around $60,000,000, the Rams will head into free agency with $25,000,000 which isn’t a bad number. As you can see the Rams took Jenkins over Johnson when bringing back the two cornerbacks.

As well as Johnson played, it’s hard to pay two number one cornerbacks, number one money. Fisher likes Jenkins and in the end, I believe they will re-sign him. Barron, Quick, and Hayes include the other big name players that I brought back.

Barron was unbelievable at linebacker last season. Cutting Britt, the Rams do need a receiver and Quick could replace him. Hayes gives them much needed depth at defensive end.

With $25,000,000 the Rams could bring back Johnson, Long, or Laurinaitis, and they might. However, this amount gives them some options in free agency. Note that these numbers are not exact and didnt include guaranteed money. I took what I considered to be a players value and divided the by the number of years I brought that player back for.
