Free Agency

Heading into free agency, the Rams have $25,000,000 in cap space which gives them some options in free agency. Now we dont know who exactly this years free agents are going to be, but we can make a few assumptions here. Most likely a franchise player is not going to hit the free agent market, so I’ll take out Alshon Jeffery right off the bat.

The Rams need cornerback help, and Casey Hayward actually had a decent season playing on the outside in Green Bay. Hayward is a serviceable option

Marvin Jones gives the Rams a number two receiver that had success in Cincinnati. Jones saw 99 targets and caught 69 passes for 848 yards and four touchdowns, including the playoffs.

Jason Pierre-Paul is going to be too tempting for Jeff Fisher. A defensive end that nobody wants because of his hand. The talent is still there. With Chris Long out of the picture, he is the replacement.

The Rams need depth on the offensive line and Brandon Brooks out of Houston gives them that. He is a solid run blocker that didnt have a great 2015, but at the very least he gives them depth behind Saffold.
