In order to bring back all of these players, the Los Angeles Rams may have to cut some ties with some players currently under contract in order to open up the cap space. The Rams have 10 players here that they will need to try and bring back.

Head coach Jeff Fisher has already named Case Keenum the starter and they will without a doubt try and get him a deal. Hopefully they dont overpay and pay him like a starting quarterback, but he’s a player they will be looking to get back.

William Hayes gives the Rams good depth on the defensive line and actually played pretty well in place of Chris Long last season. He has had success under Fisher and unless his price tag is too big, expect the Rams to bring him back.

The Rams really have two solid safeties in Mark Barron and Rodney McLeod. While Barron plays for of an in the box, Will Linebacker role, he lead the team in tackles last season and is a versatile player. McLeod, has struggled in the past, but he turned a corner last season. He became one of the NFL’s best safeties and as a young player, the Rams should try to bring him back. Bryant is good on special teams and hopefully he can develop into a depth player.

At cornerback is where things become difficult. Do the Rams re-sign Trumaine Johnson or Janoris Jenkins. Johnson may come at a cheaper price, but Fisher likes Jenkins and his big playmaking ability. LA is going to be an attractive destination and a place Jenkins wants to play.

The Rams are going to have to bring in some competition for Zuerlein as he was one of the league’s worst kickers last season. Im not thrilled about bringing him back, but he’s their only option at this point. They could consider drafting someone.

Jeff Fisher has mentioned numerous times how he likes his young offensive line and Tim Barnes fits that. The team should without a doubt try and draft a center, but Barnes at the very least is good for depth as he can play multiple positions.

Harkey and Cunningham are just two guys that you like having on the roster. Harkey is a tight end/fullback hybrid and Cunningham has been a good change of pace running back out of the backfield as well as a good kick returner. These are two players that the Rams will be looking to extend.

Daren Bates is just a good special teams player that is always in the right place at the right time and making plays in the process.
