With the 2nd pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, The St. Louis Rams select Chris Long Defensive End From Virginia. It was an excited day for the Long family as they celebrated Chris making the next step to become a professional football player.

In his last year with Virginia he would leave with his best season yet, 14 sacks, 79 total tackles along with 1 Interception. This is when the Rams started to bulk up their defense as Long was going to be apart of a very special defensive team.
