4. Being Named A Captain

It didnt take long for Laurinaitis to make his mark on the franchise. He had over 110 tackles in each of his first three seasons and had made it known that he was the leader of the defense. In 2012, the Rams made it official and named him one of their team captains.

Everything that Laurinaitis had done had been noticed by his teammates and they chose a good man to lead them on the field each and every week. As I said in the beginning of this piece, Laurinaitis was a guy in which he gave it 110% no matter what. If the team was 2-12 or was going against the best team in the league, he was going to give it his all. His teammates noticed and he was rewarded.

Rams fans are going to miss the player they knew as “The Captain”.
