1. Becoming the Franchise’s Leading Tackler

The story of Laurinaitis’ career with the Rams was not being able to win games. It was never his fault, but the team never won. That was the case in probably the biggest moment of his career when he became the franchise’s leading tackler.

In a 6-12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Laurinaitis’ record setting game went for the most part, unnoticed. After the game Laurinaitis said,

"“I have just been really blessed by the Lord to stay healthy for seven years. I really wish we could have won.”"

This just shows the type of player that Laurinaitis was. It was never about him. He was the ultimate team player. Instead of saying how it was awesome and making it about him, all he wanted was the win.

Best of luck to you and your family James. Hope you go on to win a championship, because everyone knows you’ve not only earned it, but deserved it.
