On November 24th, 2015 at 8:45 p.m., an absolutely tragic series of events resulted in wounds to the head of Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey. The Florida native and some of his relatives were shot in a parked car in front of a Miami Gardens residence during a drive-by shooting. Remarkably, Bailey took two shots to the head but was considered to be in “stable” condition, when he was rushed to the hospital.

The very next day Bailey would under go successful surgery. Bailey was back in his home state of Florida as he was serving his four game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. At the time of the shooting, there was a high possibility that Bailey may never walk, run or heel again. However today Bailey is doing the un-thinkable.
